Happy Diwali!

|
Happy Diwali, everyone! Sorry for the absence. I'm back. For good. Hopefully.

So, what's this picture doing here? It's here to show my gratitude towards my best friend here in Clark, none other than Sonali!

She told me stories 'bout Diwali celebrations throughout her life; how merry and colourful the ambience would be and not to mention, the gifts from the elderlies! She gave me this Guess? belt just so I can feel the same. She shouldn't have...

Anyway, thank you my friend, will always love you.

P.S : I love this belt, a lot!
P.P.S : Union Jack means something great to me too...

The Spirit

|
After returning to the Philippines, the second movie Sonali and I watched this new year was The Spirit.

Yet, another disappointing movie. Some said they would rather read the comic instead. For me, it was barely okay. I guess the best part was Eva Mendez's bare ass! Also, not to mention all the other sexy celebrities acted in it.

Bedtime Stories

|
Well, I've watched this when I was in Malaysia with Sonali, Pony, Edmond and Jillian with her friend.

I can't make up my mind whether or not this Adam Sandler's production was good or not. Many said it was brilliant but unfortunately for me, I didn't enjoy much.

I guess I was expecting too much and got a little disappointed with the final product of the movie.

Malaysia Trip

|
The remaining of our days in Malaysia, we spent time in many big malls, shopping around and playing bowling. Shopping was boring but bowling was never this fun.

We played in every malls we went to and those were the quality times spent. I can't think of any other thing that all of us foreigners do when we're here in Clark, so I supposed, bowling was our getaway.

I didn't get to spend much time with my family and close friends but for those whom my time was spent with, it was rememberable. Among them, National Service bunch consisting Summer, Emily, Eling, Shioun and Edmond were the ones I've met up the most. Also, not forgetting meeting up with SookLee at Petronas Twin Towers for dinner at Sakae Sushi and Poni and Gary at Times Square for a movie.

I was glad Poni and Sonali got along quick and became shopping partners in split seconds. Gary and I were just plain-talking about our progress in life.

Other than that, I was really happy Leoric and Vincent showed up at Mid Valley for a movie. Thanks to Leoric, my coca-cola collections has now expanded with some new four (or five) bottles and cans of Aussie cokes! By the way, that decorative item he gave made my day too, though he should have given me the pilot-related thingy instead of driver's. He got his reasons and I completely understood.

New year was fun. I was supposed to meet up with Andrea and Harveena but for some reasons, we didn't get to. Anyway, there will always be a next time in the future. And oh, did I mention (I know I didn't) that I met Yung San, Choon Fui, Jeleine and Su Wen at Times Square before getting my car? Yeap, I met them and it was an unusual feeling but great at the same time. Glad to see them again!

This should cover up everything that has happened in Malaysia. I will always treasure the times we spent together, as colleagues and future MPL pilots!

P/S : Too bad that in many occasions with many different friends, photos were forgotten to take...

Christmas, 2008

|
Let's see...

First of all, I apologized for making this blog looked so dead.
Last but not least, I have reasonable excuses, just so you know.

Done.

During the last December, I've been busy preparing myself for several different types of airworks and on top of that, planning my schedules in Malaysia - the wheres, whens and the whos.

After celebrating Christmas and 2009 New Year in Malaysia, I'm finally back on the 2nd of January from my 12-day-11-night bloody exciting trip. The Bahrainis - Mohamed "Cousin", Mohamed "Big Mo" and Yousif, the Omani - Ibrahim "Barhoom," the Indian - Sonali and I enjoyed our short break off the Philippines very much.

Though, our programmes were mostly taken place in Mid Valley Megamall, The Gardens, Berjaya Times Square, Sungei Wang, Low Yat Plaza, Lot 10, Starhill Gallery, Pavilion and Sunway Pyramid, we did take some turnovers with splashes at Sunway Lagoon Water Park and adrenaline-pumping theme park rides at Genting Highlands.

From the sleeps to the eats, they enjoyed it all; whereas I was the only one tired from the endless driving-arounds. Anyway, I still enjoyed myself alongside my close friends. Y'all know lah, I gotta bring the best of Malaysia on the table, aight!

Christmas countdown at Bukit Bintang was the first thing that opened their eyes wide. They did not see many things coming - from our wide variety of foods to our hospitality towards visitors, jaws were dropped.

Next post will be about the New Year Countdown for the year 2008/2009.

P/S : Photographs were uploaded into my Facebook account already. The hassle killed me.

My 19th Birthday

|
Hell yeah, it's my birthday, yeah, shawty it's my birthday!

Well this video is the whole story. I was really happy, seriously.

Barhoom and Shona, I love you guys so bloody much! Not to forget, Jeffrey! Also, those who called and texted me from UK, Singapore and Malaysia.

Then, we went for a dinner at C Italian Dining. The food weren't those of my recommendation, but the Italian Sodas and the White Hazelnut Coffee were contrastingly good.
Felt a little bad because Barhoom wasn't there and would rather be with the other Arabs. Anyway, I know he was in dilemma getting stuck between us and his roommates. Not to worry, I feel for you hommie!

And last but not least, after the dinner, Sonali and I waited for Suleiman, one of Barhoom's best friends to arrive from Oman. After his arrival and tour in our institute, we went out to get him checked in into the hotel and went straight to Camelot. Sonali was technically forced to drink the Bacardi 151. Watch and enjoy the video!

Brothers and Sister

|
Attached is a video of Sonali pole-dancing with a pillar, or more like a staircase handle. Last night, we had a barbeque party organized from Batch 6 to celebrate the our achievement on First Solo Flights. All of us are done with that, it was worth celebrating.
Later that night, Sonali and I planned to go for some drinks, either at a nice bar or a lounge but Ibrahim made a last-minute decision to tag along. We headed straight to Starbucks and had Toffee Nut Lattes and slices Oreo Cheese Cakes and then both of them were arguing on where to go.

Sonali wanted to go to club or a disco rather than bar or lounge and Ibrahim didn't agree and we ended up at Camelot. Remember Camelot, the Girly Bar? I celebrated my birthday there last November and did I mention that yesterday was Laith's birthday? We, sad to say but if he were to be there, wouldn't enjoy that much.

We first had Beers, then shots of Tequila. Followed by the Cocktails, Screwdriver consisting Vodka and Orange, Tequila shots again and then the flaming Bacardi 151 with Bailey's Irish Cream. We ended our night with a glassful of Red Wine each.

Now, here comes the funny part! We pretended like real brothers and sister! Can you believe that! The story was, our dad is a pilot, he went around the world and fucked women from Malaysia, Oman and India and, POOF! There we were! The Pimp Lady was so dumb to believe and we continued our short story. Sonali was the only one wasted and she puked so many times! Pity me... Don't ask...

Anyway, it was nevertheless a great night and we officially became brothers and sister!

I love you, Akhooi and Didi!

Sunset Solo Flight

|
She didn't see that coming! All along, she has been expecting an early flight, perhaps 0700 but definitely not a sunset's!

She did three stop-and-go's and she pulled them off! She was like a bird, first taking off off the nest and out of her comfort zone! I felt really happy for her, so did the rest of the audience.

Sonali : RP-C8835, just landed and cleared of the active runway and closing my flight plan.
Tower : Congratulation! (Congratulations! Screaming and yelling from the background - the Clark Tower staffs!)

She had so many people rooting for her! We clapped as she landed and laughed with her when she squealed out of happiness. I texted her dad all the way to Russia and I can tell that he was very happy for her.

Sonali's Dad : Now you've proved you're my daughter! (Her dad is a very experienced Fighter Pilot from the National Defense of India)
Sonali : What do you mean! Don't say that, dad... Hahahaha!

That's what happened yesterday. It ended pretty nicely.
(Hm, I wonder when's my turn...)

By the way, as an international aviation tradition, we poured very dirty water unto her and the crowd cheered as she yelled, "Now, pour the bloody (clean) water!" She couldn't wait for the push-and-pull of "Who's gonna pour the clean water?"

QFE 0001FT

|
Clark Aviation Updates.
  • Sonali did not complete her Solo Progress Check due to Captain Leng's busy schedules.
  • Zellent performed the continued Circuit Flight in preparation for Solo with Captain Somera because Captain Lecciones was at Cebu.
  • Francis' flight was delayed due to Radio Transmission problems. Zellent lent him a David Clark headset.
  • Edward went to Omni to witness Zellent's poor landings.
  • Jeff was reported elevated from the ground and recorded a scale of 0001 feet from the QFE (Question Field Elevation).
  • Everyone and everything else were right in place.
  • Well, not exactly everyone. Little Bunny was misplaced due to his tiny physical appearance.

Moi et Moi-même...

|
Me and Myself...

(All pictures were taken at Omni)

Life can be really sweet for some otherwise, bitterly sour for the rest. I'm in the latter category.
So, you ask, what's wrong with me? Seriously, I have no idea.
I'm at the base of my lifetime journey, not even close to a tiny bit of success yet...
I've been studying, flying, doing research and put in a lot of effort into this but they just don't seem to work out!

Sonali will be doing her Progress Check tomorrow, as a preparation before Solo. I'm talking about solo! How cool is that? I mean, I believe that's the once-in-a-lifetime thing that most pilot cadets in the world would want to achieve! This will be the moment that proves you can handle the aircraft all by yourself and without any complication.

I've been flying longer than she had but now, she's progressing faster and better than I've ever achieved. Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely happy for her and I wish for the best to happen. I'm just a little worried bout myself. I can't seem to cope up! I can't land the aircraft the way my instructor wants and not to mention all the other pilots out there.

I feel like I've always been failing myself; falling deeper and deeper into the losers-abyss. I don't want to feel this way, I don't want to be this way but I have no capability to deviate myself from this direction. I've tried, tried really hard and now I'm drained. I used to think, "I have a goal and I'm determined to achieve it!" but life doesn't always go the way I wanted...

Sigh...

The Gravedancers

|
Can you believe it was released in the States in 2006? Yeah you should.
And can you believe it was just released recently here? You should too because it was.

Anyway, I watched this movie and you're right if you're guessing I was with a girl.

You're right again if you would to guess that she has been screaming, yelling, jumping, moving, shaking, and so on. You name the impulsive expressions, she pulled them all off!

You're also right that she is the infamous, Sonali.

Let's go back to the movie. Yes, the trailer was made beautifully horrifying but guess what, it is crappy. Generally, the most interesting part of a movie or book would be its complicatedly-knotted climax and how the characters untangle it, right?

Well, in this movie, you can just forget about it. It's really crappy. The so-called graphics by the same team who made the Fantastic 4 and Hellboy 2, I was expecting too much. At least, the same scale and degree of graphics smoothness would do, but, let's just say they've tried their very best.

First approximately one hour was nevertheless, nicely done but not after that. That's all I'm gonna say.

She's Back!

|
Taj Mahal Monument

Sonali is back!
She got me something really nice.
How sweet!
Russian Vodka,
Russian Chocolate and...

last but not least, COKE of course! This is from India. The Russian one exploded...

One Year Anniversaries!

|
Yesterday (29th of July) was the one year anniversary for the existence of my blog.

Exactly one week from now, on the 6th of August will be my one year half-completed course, Sonali's BIRTHDAY and not to forget, our one year of fuckin' good friendship!

Two days from now will be the official commencement date of Plan A. Few hours ago, there was a major progress in this plan. This is gonna be friggin sexy! Have patience!

Stay tuned for more!

P/S : Woah, talk about "time flies!"

Sonali is Trying to Cover UP!

|
It's Zara Zara, a very nice Hindi song!
Sonali decided to cover it and here it is!

Enjoy!

P/S : Observe her facial expressions. Laugh all you want, this video is meant for it.

The Dark Knight

|
"You either die a Hero or live long enough to see yourself becoming a Villain"

I would say this (almost) 3-hour movie is great!

First in mind, "Three hours? Is it gonna be boring in some scenes?"

"Well, it's Batman : The Dark Knight! How boring can it be, right?"

And yes, it is a really good movie! Definitely a must-watch

Story of the day : This morning, Sonali had her flight at 0900 hour and she came back sobbing... She couldn't stand the yelling and the anger (that her instructor brought down from his previous flight) on her. Later in the evening, there was a (very) good news. She received a text saying, "Sonali, now you are transferred to Captain Angeles (a better instructor, or so the pilot cadets claimed) and you are no longer with Captain Cervania."

I'm happy for her. She deserves somebody who can really teach her with the right method and that the one she can learn from. Feeling really good for her.

P/S : Sonali, you can do it! So what if you have to fly the same air-exercise for the second time? Remember, nobody's perfect! Best of luck from me :)

राजपूत (Rajput) Arranged-Marriage

|
SONALI SINGH BHADAURIA

The Exotic Indian culture has never faded, even in this modern technological era.
No exception for Sonali from the Rajput caste.
One of the practices is...

ARRANGED-MARRIAGE!

Yes, she will be a part of it!
Now, here comes the funny part!
Few days ago, her mother called her and talked about it. Her mother opened Sonali's Orkut (something like Friendster/Facebook) profile and viewed her friends. She was asking Sonali one friend at a time about his background, and whether or not is he a Rajput too

So far, she has only one Rajput male friend and coincidently, her mum asked about that guy, Akhand. Sonali said they are just best friends and can never be married to each other. She also said that it would be funny if both of them were to marry each other. Her mum then replied, "Have you watch that new-released Hindi movie, 'Jane Tu Ya Jane Na'? The best friends will become couple and eventually get married! Both of you will be the same too!" Laughter bursted of out Sonali!

So, her mum moved on to another guy, Rahul (her current distance-relationship's love) and asked Sonali, "So, what about this guy Rahul? Is he a Rajput?"

She immediately said "Next!" when Sonali answered her question with Rahul's last name (from the last names, you can tell if a person is a Rajput or not). Sonali continued that awkward and OH-MY-GOD-ly conversation that night with laughs and some screamings. In India, is it said that it's bad for a girl who doesn't get married by the age of 25 years old.

Sonali said, "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god! I have just five more years left! Oh my G-O-D!"

What a laugh for me! She was telling me the story and I was laughing, hand on my stomach to stand the pain. HAHAHA!

P/S : For Akhand's (first subject) case, his mum asked the same thing about Sonali. They shared this information and both laughed out loud!

豚カツ (とんかつ or Tonkatsu)

|
Had Japanese dish for dinner just now with Jeffry and Cheston. A pretty well-done Tonkatsu, I can say!

Charu and Ashwani both sat next to our table, greeted them. My cousin and Mohamed came and took the table at my 8 o'clock. Greeted them warmly too.

Typhoon today, no flight for my cousin and no need for that lazy Sonali to get outta bed early for standby.

Deep Thought

|
Sonali's wonder wanders away...

Missed it by That Much!

|
Sonali, in fact, DID NOT get smarter even after watching the movie. Too bad. Hahaa!

Very funny! It's been long since the last comedy show. (Hmm...?)
Anyway, signing off. Good night :)

And I got my Gold Card today!

After Ibrahim Left

|
On the other hand, me and Sonali went to SM Megamall to have some fun. Went to ice-skating and the 'What Happens in Vegas'. We then walked to Shangri-La Mall and I bought two pieces of ZARAs. One has been damaged by the electro-magnetic anti-theft plastic-lock because it left a small hole, and I fucking hate it! Gonna exchange it for another new piece soon.

Something outta-my-mind happened. I was looking at the watch that I've always wanted to buy, Tissot Touch Platinum. It's about close to a thousand US dollars and I almost buy it! I couldn't believe how irrational I was to say "Ok, I'll buy it" just like that! Anyway, don't worry my little pocket, I didn't burn you in the end because I didn't have enough money that time and the bank has limited transactions per day, I've withdrew some few hundreds ringgit before going to ZARA earlier. THANK GOD! Accidents do happen at the right time sometimes! Ended up couldn't withdraw more money and didn't get the watch. IT WAS SO DAMN CLOSE TO MY WRIST! Anyway, things happen for reasons, maybe it's not the time yet. I'll see you again Tissot Touch!

P/S : Second picture from top says "Omani." Bet he's missing all the fun! "Yeeheeheehee!" (Ibrahim's signature laugh!)
