Jamais Vu

Jamais Vu, pronounce it "zhaa-may voo" and it's not exactly the opposite of deja vu but often thought so. It's the "never before" feeling that you feel whether you're in a new environment or discovering new feelings.

My 19th Birthday

Hell yeah, it's my birthday, yeah, shawty it's my birthday!

Well this video is the whole story. I was really happy, seriously.

Barhoom and Shona, I love you guys so bloody much! Not to forget, Jeffrey! Also, those who called and texted me from UK, Singapore and Malaysia.

Then, we went for a dinner at C Italian Dining. The food weren't those of my recommendation, but the Italian Sodas and the White Hazelnut Coffee were contrastingly good.
Felt a little bad because Barhoom wasn't there and would rather be with the other Arabs. Anyway, I know he was in dilemma getting stuck between us and his roommates. Not to worry, I feel for you hommie!

And last but not least, after the dinner, Sonali and I waited for Suleiman, one of Barhoom's best friends to arrive from Oman. After his arrival and tour in our institute, we went out to get him checked in into the hotel and went straight to Camelot. Sonali was technically forced to drink the Bacardi 151. One Year Anniversaries!

Yesterday (29th of July) was the one year anniversary for the existence of my blog.

Exactly one week from now, on the 6th of August will be my one year half-completed course, Sonali's BIRTHDAY and not to forget, our one year of fuckin' good friendship!

Two days from now will be the official commencement date of Plan A. Few hours ago, there was a major progress in this plan. This is gonna be friggin sexy! Have patience!

ZiWei's Birthday

So, supposedly her birthday falls on the 10th of July but I was kind of BLUR and send her a text just now and wished her a happy birthday. I was trying to call her but it didn't get connected.

Then, a MSN Messenger's conversation popped. It was ZiWei. She thanked me and I chatted with her for a little while. We talked about many little things and she suggested maybe in the future, we could buy a big cake and put all our names together! The Nottinghamian-gang, which includes the BioSciences and AEZ and of course, ME! Hopefully, one day!

At the same time, I was chatting with ZhengYew. To my surprise, he said he misses me! Hahahaha! Can't believe that. Yeah, yeah, I know I talked to the deafening state! Anyway, we then talked about ZiWei's upcoming birthday and he said "It's on the 10th laa" which sorta shocked me a little. I felt so embarrassed to have wished her this early.

I confronted ZiWei to make sure when is the right date. Obviously she said 10th. Holy shit... Sorry ZiWei! Well, that's it for today.

P/S : At one point, ZiWei was confused and picked up her cell to check the date, thinking it was 9th! Hahaha!

Mohamed's Birthday!

It's the 1st of October, I'm excited because a new month has begun, marking the 3rd month of my studies here.

More importantly, it's gonna be someone's Big Day tomorrow. I have had some plans in mind already since a week before, on how to throw him a surprise.

Straight after class, I rushed hurriedly to my dorm. Stripped and changed in less than a minute just to catch the shuttle bus. I managed to, but in my soaking T-shirt and already wet slippers. It was raining pretty heavily but in a way, it's pleasant. Maybe because I was left alone the last weekend - eating alone, watching TV alone, another meal alone and sleeping alone in that spacious dorm. No companion but no grievance.

Reached the nearest mall in about 20 minutes dued to the bad weather and the crawl in the traffic. Wasting no time, I got off the shuttle telling the polite driver to wait for me for 20 minutes. Pacing rapidly to Goldilock, one of the famous cake houses without knowing the real directions to it. I felt lost. Walking in my wet pair of slippers worsen the situation, as I was almost slipped a few times, looking like a clown.

I found it! Satisfactory embraced me at once pushing the chill away from my body. I was really freezing but it was no big deal. Stepped into the shop looking for the perfect flavour, perfect shape, the perfect cake for my perfect cousin took me around 15 minutes. Imagine yourself wandering around in the cake house in semi-wet shirt, shivering and asking stupid questions. 15 minutes felt like half an hour.

Despite the price, I chose a mocha flavoured rectangular cake. the only thing I dislike was the fake cream flowers. I hate colorings but, can do nothing about it as the rest of the bunch were worse. No more words.

Worth the troubles I went through. Looking at the cake makes me go Speechless!

Something makes me think twice of being here - celebration of my birthday.

I know, it's really far from today but when I think of it, sigh, who am I gonna celebrate my big day with? I love my family and friends and I would definitely hope to get some surprises (although none happened to me yet) and text messages from them. Honestly, those messages make me feel loved and belonged.
