Malaysia Break Part Two

|
So, here I am again, in the Philippines. How I wished I've never come back to this institute... Anyway, picture above shows most of the souvenirs that I bought for my close friends here and they ain't cheap... Well, they're money worth spent.

Movies. (Again? Yes.)

Monsters VS. Aliens. Not bad, really. Though some of the jokes were too cheesy, overall, it had shown some good moral values in life. Should watch!

Talk about fierce! The fourth sequel of Fast and Furious, Fast and Furious 4 : Original Parts was really nice. I wouldn't be surprise if I were to asked to watch it again! Movie time spent with Marcus and Liau from Nottingham.

He's Just Not That Into You, watched with Emily was kinda cliché. Not Emily, the movie. But you know, many have been complaining about new stuff not suiting each individual's expectations, this cliché was something to be remembered. Well if not in life, at least in relationships.

I can't possibly watch 12 times of this, movie 12 Rounds with Jesslyn, was incredible. I liked how the plot was so twisted yet understandable. Though, I should say I enjoyed watching Jesslyn's expressions more! She was like, moving here and there, as if she was ducking for a dodge ball! Quite enjoyable overall.

Malaysia Break Part One

So, what have I been doing not updating this blog for so long? Worse, since last month?! Hahaha, long story short, catching-up. Serious series of catching-ups! So you ask, with who? First off, my dearest families. That was the very reason why I did not inform any of my friends over here in Malaysia, fearing I might spend more than necessary with them rather than my family.

Anyway, as you can see (or may not), I've watched Dragon Ball Evolution, the movie with a bunch of National Service's best pals. Not bad, will be very acceptable if they were to spend more money and effort on their graphics.

On the other hand, Hotel for Dogs was great. I liked it how all along the movie, it focused on the sibling-hood of two orphans. Thank god the dogs did not talk in the movie (I didn't watch the trailer and thought it was that kinda movie). Otherwise, it would have spoiled the whole thing.

Last but not least, the most recent movie was Knowing. I have never watched its trailer nor heard anything special about it until it was released in the cinemas. The movie was really dramatic with exaggerated sound and graphic effects, as a bonus for some but otherwise as distractions for many. I took it pretty well, not so bad after all. Watching a loud movie with a lecturer, especially a sweet and innocent-looking one wasn't really an ideal hang-out because... she cursed and swore and jumped-around and... and... and... (you don't wanna know!).

Nevertheless, Baskin Robbins treats from her did cover up a lot of stuff! We talked and laughed and even shared some personal stuff together! She, Ann Deni is definitely someone you could call your lecturer, and a friend.

As far as I'm concerned, no picture was taken. Will try to get some for Part Two. Adios.

Just having some quality time with the guys! More pictures on Facebook!

Malaysia Trip

|
The remaining of our days in Malaysia, we spent time in many big malls, shopping around and playing bowling. Shopping was boring but bowling was never this fun.

We played in every malls we went to and those were the quality times spent. I can't think of any other thing that all of us foreigners do when we're here in Clark, so I supposed, bowling was our getaway.

I didn't get to spend much time with my family and close friends but for those whom my time was spent with, it was rememberable. Among them, National Service bunch consisting Summer, Emily, Eling, Shioun and Edmond were the ones I've met up the most. Also, not forgetting meeting up with SookLee at Petronas Twin Towers for dinner at Sakae Sushi and Poni and Gary at Times Square for a movie.

I was glad Poni and Sonali got along quick and became shopping partners in split seconds. Gary and I were just plain-talking about our progress in life.

Other than that, I was really happy Leoric and Vincent showed up at Mid Valley for a movie. Thanks to Leoric, my coca-cola collections has now expanded with some new four (or five) bottles and cans of Aussie cokes! By the way, that decorative item he gave made my day too, though he should have given me the pilot-related thingy instead of driver's. He got his reasons and I completely understood.

New year was fun. I was supposed to meet up with Andrea and Harveena but for some reasons, we didn't get to. Anyway, there will always be a next time in the future. And oh, did I mention (I know I didn't) that I met Yung San, Choon Fui, Jeleine and Su Wen at Times Square before getting my car? Yeap, I met them and it was an unusual feeling but great at the same time. Glad to see them again!

This should cover up everything that has happened in Malaysia. I will always treasure the times we spent together, as colleagues and future MPL pilots!

P/S : Too bad that in many occasions with many different friends, photos were forgotten to take...

Christmas, 2008

|
Let's see...

First of all, I apologized for making this blog looked so dead.
Last but not least, I have reasonable excuses, just so you know.

Done.

During the last December, I've been busy preparing myself for several different types of airworks and on top of that, planning my schedules in Malaysia - the wheres, whens and the whos.

After celebrating Christmas and 2009 New Year in Malaysia, I'm finally back on the 2nd of January from my 12-day-11-night bloody exciting trip. The Bahrainis - Mohamed "Cousin", Mohamed "Big Mo" and Yousif, the Omani - Ibrahim "Barhoom," the Indian - Sonali and I enjoyed our short break off the Philippines very much.

Though, our programmes were mostly taken place in Mid Valley Megamall, The Gardens, Berjaya Times Square, Sungei Wang, Low Yat Plaza, Lot 10, Starhill Gallery, Pavilion and Sunway Pyramid, we did take some turnovers with splashes at Sunway Lagoon Water Park and adrenaline-pumping theme park rides at Genting Highlands.

From the sleeps to the eats, they enjoyed it all; whereas I was the only one tired from the endless driving-arounds. Anyway, I still enjoyed myself alongside my close friends. Y'all know lah, I gotta bring the best of Malaysia on the table, aight!

Christmas countdown at Bukit Bintang was the first thing that opened their eyes wide. They did not see many things coming - from our wide variety of foods to our hospitality towards visitors, jaws were dropped.

Next post will be about the New Year Countdown for the year 2008/2009.

P/S : Photographs were uploaded into my Facebook account already. The hassle killed me.

My 19th Birthday

|
Hell yeah, it's my birthday, yeah, shawty it's my birthday!

Well this video is the whole story. I was really happy, seriously.

Barhoom and Shona, I love you guys so bloody much! Not to forget, Jeffrey! Also, those who called and texted me from UK, Singapore and Malaysia.

Then, we went for a dinner at C Italian Dining. The food weren't those of my recommendation, but the Italian Sodas and the White Hazelnut Coffee were contrastingly good.
Felt a little bad because Barhoom wasn't there and would rather be with the other Arabs. Anyway, I know he was in dilemma getting stuck between us and his roommates. Not to worry, I feel for you hommie!

And last but not least, after the dinner, Sonali and I waited for Suleiman, one of Barhoom's best friends to arrive from Oman. After his arrival and tour in our institute, we went out to get him checked in into the hotel and went straight to Camelot. Sonali was technically forced to drink the Bacardi 151. Watch and enjoy the video!

Starbucks Planner

|
For the month of November, I felt like a kid and you know why? No you don't. I was collecting STICKERS! Hahaha! Starbucks Coffee stickers!

You know, business tricks, buy 16 cups of coffee and get each a sticker and poof, there you go - a planner.

Well, I was quite happy with it 'cause its papers quality is extremely good and you know how Starbucks goes, greener day by day, all recycled!

Hmm, birthday is coming soon but no plans of any celebration yet... Come on guys, gimme a huge surprise for my last teen year! Sigh... I guess that's all for today, just a little update.

P/S : See you guys in Malaysia really soon! And, dear NS Gang, I'm so curious about the surprise that you guys planned to give!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY :)

Advanced-&-Late Birthdays Celebration

|

Today, my friends were celebrating my advance birthday celebration for me and we (the other 3 outta 4) were celebrating Laith's, which was supposedly on the 21st of November. Anyway, we went first to have our dinner at Simple Asia. Annette, my friend is working there and she commented the Indian dinner buffet is really worth having. Thus, we went!

Clockwise from 9 o'clock : Me, Ibrahim, Laith and Sonali.

From left : Annette & the F'Crew!

After dinner, we returned home to rest for an hour or two and then we went clubbing. Ended up at Balk Line.

Frozen Yogurt a.k.a Cold Spoon

|

Last Sunday night, I went out with Chai (Chifil), Bing (Vincent) and Sonali to Frozen Yogurt to have, of course yogurt ice-cream. Not bad, not bad!

P/S : Had test the next day... Sigh!

Manila Parties Night

|

Can you imagine how sick of us to travel by bus to Manila just to go bar/club hopping? Hahaa, five of us : Me, Sonali (Indian Classmate), Donya, Hadi and Yousif (Bahraini Friends) went through all the trouble just to kill the boring 4-day holiday. Spent not just 2-3 hours of rough ride in the bus but also alot of money...

We left Clark at around 1700 and reach Manila at around 1930. Head straight to The Fort, Makati to have our dinner at the Prince of Jaipur. Awefully DELICIOUS Indian food! Five of us spent ±PhP 3500.00 just for the good food. Convertion of MYR to PhP is MYR1 to PhP13. Maybe, there's another trip this weekend!
