Boo!

Happy Halloween!

Don't let the bats and spiders scare the shit out of you, scary boos! Not to mention some hands glooming outta nowhere to touch you!

Boo!

Tissot T-Touch Expert Titanium

|
Finally, after a month and twenty two days of misery, my watch has arrived!

Let me present you, the Tissot T-Touch Expert Titanium!

Loving it. So far, so good. Actually, it's great! Its functions suit my complete needs as a cadet pilot and I'm sure I will make (very) good use of it.

Best of all, the touch screen! I'm already addicted to tapping the screen!

By the way, some might say it's a little too thick or something like that, it's reasonable! It's also very light-weighted.

Hatred.

First off, to be honest, I am so disgusted by some people who define themselves as someone who doesn't hold grudges and hatred-free. I have to say, I do hate some people with certain unacceptable attitudes and bad behaviours.

Let this post be the encouragement for you to spit it all out!

I hate that one person, who will always be attached to you until he finds another "friend."
When he does, he will just dump you away, push you to one corner like you are just another piece of shit. God damn it!

Right? I mean, who likes to be freaking used? That kind of people, should never deserve anything good and the new friend he makes should clearly understand that if he can do that to his previous friend, he can do it to you too!

So, there you go. I've spitted it all out. If you are that kind of person, please do me a teeny weeny favour - stay away from me. Thanks, but no thanks!

Now, who's turn is it? Come on, express yourselves!

Você.

You.

Let's talk about you readers this time.
This should be interesting because the thoughts of it kept storming my head.
Here it goes:

Q1 : What do you do currently, as in college/university course(s) or specific profession(s) and is that/are those what you really love?
Q2: Why? Is it/are those because you wanted to or needed to?

I am brought up in a way with deep influences from my Dad, the ever-busy businessman. When I graduated High School, I felt afraid. Really afraid thinking of my new life, new path.

"What course should I be taking?"
"And where?"
"Should I be following my friends?"
"Or just go with the flow?"

I turned and asked my dad. He said something that I will never forget in my life.

"Whatever you wish to do, just let me know. I will support you, pay for you tuition fees until you graduate."
"There's nothing else I can do with the bloody sweat money and they're all for you kids!"
"All my dad taught me was to support you (children) mainly on educations."
"He did that to your first few uncles and aunts and now I'm gonna do it to you."

So, I chose to be in the University of Nottingham and I didn't regret it. I then pulled out during the first summer break and joined Clark Aviation, to be a Pilot.

Now, I know how hard it is for my dad to start working at the young age of fifteen or sixteen even without a high school level of education. He did not make it through high school and I think because his dad passed away at quite an early age, cutting off the needed financials for him to continue schooling.

I may be too young to think this way but to be completely honest, I am taking up aviation course not because I love it, but because of my future family. Of course, I would love to be a pilot, the professional career that the general society talks the most about - the perks especially (in which I will not discuss about here).

The above paragraph sums up the answer for Q1.

Some people that I know are doing what they are doing now because of their parents' wishes and I do know, not all of their wishes merge with their children's, usually clash. Many are seen to be "forced" to study some particular courses just to please their parents and/or friends and/or even the society. Why is it so hard for the unfortunates to do what they love to do?

In this case, I'm quite the opposite. I have the luxury to pick what I want to do, and hell yeah I'm treasuring this. Flying is what I wanted to do, not needed to. I would like to work as hard as possible to get good money and save them up for my future family. But, I'm in doubt if this is really what I love considering I don't do this personally for myself. In any ways, I do not regret making this step, I will never be. Though, sometimes I would be filled with jealousy seeing people doing what they love, what they really want to do. I'll get over it.

The above paragraph sums up the answer for Q2.

So, why am I saying this post is for you, about you? I would really appreciate it if everyone of you who spent time reading this could write down your personal experiences.

Please state:
- full name and/or nickname (how people greet you)
- how are you related to me (families, friends or even passerby)
- answers for both the questions (Q1 and Q2)

Whatever you're doing right now, try spending five minutes to write them down on the comment box of this post. Let the rest feel for you, not sympathizing but understanding your choices.

A sincere token of appreciation, "Thanks!"

Sunset Solo Flight

|
She didn't see that coming! All along, she has been expecting an early flight, perhaps 0700 but definitely not a sunset's!

She did three stop-and-go's and she pulled them off! She was like a bird, first taking off off the nest and out of her comfort zone! I felt really happy for her, so did the rest of the audience.

Sonali : RP-C8835, just landed and cleared of the active runway and closing my flight plan.
Tower : Congratulation! (Congratulations! Screaming and yelling from the background - the Clark Tower staffs!)

She had so many people rooting for her! We clapped as she landed and laughed with her when she squealed out of happiness. I texted her dad all the way to Russia and I can tell that he was very happy for her.

Sonali's Dad : Now you've proved you're my daughter! (Her dad is a very experienced Fighter Pilot from the National Defense of India)
Sonali : What do you mean! Don't say that, dad... Hahahaha!

That's what happened yesterday. It ended pretty nicely.
(Hm, I wonder when's my turn...)

By the way, as an international aviation tradition, we poured very dirty water unto her and the crowd cheered as she yelled, "Now, pour the bloody (clean) water!" She couldn't wait for the push-and-pull of "Who's gonna pour the clean water?"

The Strangers

|
The Strangers is not as bad as I thought! Its trailer is definitely one of the creepiest trailers by far.

I would rate this 8 out of 10. I was on the edge of the seat, trying to shut my eyes so that I wouldn't be frightened but it was of no use. This movie is great! Moreover, it has no digitally enhanced graphics which have made the movie more realistic. Besides, it was inspired by true events!

So, you say it's familiar? Maybe. Maybe not. The production was actually finished in 2007 but was postponed twice due to some complications.

Horror movie fans should taste this!

한국 or 香港 ?

|
After the visit to Malaysia, the HOT Captain Krish will be heading to South Korea alongside the head of Business Management Team, Dexter Ampong. So, will this country of not less than 5,000 years of tradition and cultural preservation be our next destination?

On the other hand, the General Manager should be in Hong Kong right now. If not South Korea, will the world-known City of Lights, Hong Kong be our next training centre? I am salivating for the great food already! Besides, speaking and understanding cantonese is not a problem for me. I'll do great there, I hope! Either way, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea or Hong Kong, wouldn't matter much. It is just a matter of individual preference.

Also, the Chief Flight Instructor (CFI), Boris Bratusevac is leaving for Croatia as soon as possible for as long as ten days on a personal leave.

Roof of What?

|
Oh did I mention that after the shot (QFE 0001FT), we lost hold of the gravity? Yes, everyone was floating happily. Try to examine each and every one of them, give yourself a big laugh! Go on, don't be shy!

Back to the original post. Roof of what? I'm living under the roof of fighter aircraft! Mirage and chinooks just to name a few.

Today, my flight was cancelled due to the prolonged delay at the holding point and I was on queue number four! Six aircraft was waiting and my instructor, Rey was the only one who asked for more information about the fighter aircraft ongoing activities.

He asked about the estimated delays and how long were we going to wait and while the other five aircraft was listening, they began to terminate their flight plan one after another. I then terminated my flight plan and we taxied back on an indian file to the ramp. They were having air formations until the sun set!

That was what happened this evening. Later, I heard something really nice and exciting!

Guess what?

Captain Krish, a retired from Indian National Defense who is now working as the HOT guy in Clark Aviation is going to Malaysia to arranged our Level-D A320 Simulator training! Currently, few were sent to Singapore to continue their training. All I hope is that by the time I reach that phase, I will be going to Malaysia to undergo this training!

I am so sure I'm gonna have a hell lots of fun there, having my kinda food, language, car, cash and everything! Malaysia is like heaven to me, still heaven.

I will be extremely disappointed and having no fun if I were to be sent to Singapore. No offense Singaporeans!

P/S : HOT stands for Head of Training, mind you!

Pink Funhouse

|
Yes, you are right if you're guessing she's Pink. I can't wait for exactly two weeks for her fifth album with the tittle 'Funhouse' to be released!

October 28th will be exact. If I get hold of this album, I'll have all her five albums!

So What, being her first single from the album is great! I am a big fan of hers and I can't stress enough!

Her styles being masculinely rockish merges with her feminine appearance; or, maybe the other way round can't suit her better! Either way, she still rocks!

QFE 0001FT

|
Clark Aviation Updates.
  • Sonali did not complete her Solo Progress Check due to Captain Leng's busy schedules.
  • Zellent performed the continued Circuit Flight in preparation for Solo with Captain Somera because Captain Lecciones was at Cebu.
  • Francis' flight was delayed due to Radio Transmission problems. Zellent lent him a David Clark headset.
  • Edward went to Omni to witness Zellent's poor landings.
  • Jeff was reported elevated from the ground and recorded a scale of 0001 feet from the QFE (Question Field Elevation).
  • Everyone and everything else were right in place.
  • Well, not exactly everyone. Little Bunny was misplaced due to his tiny physical appearance.

Moi et Moi-même...

|
Me and Myself...

(All pictures were taken at Omni)

Life can be really sweet for some otherwise, bitterly sour for the rest. I'm in the latter category.
So, you ask, what's wrong with me? Seriously, I have no idea.
I'm at the base of my lifetime journey, not even close to a tiny bit of success yet...
I've been studying, flying, doing research and put in a lot of effort into this but they just don't seem to work out!

Sonali will be doing her Progress Check tomorrow, as a preparation before Solo. I'm talking about solo! How cool is that? I mean, I believe that's the once-in-a-lifetime thing that most pilot cadets in the world would want to achieve! This will be the moment that proves you can handle the aircraft all by yourself and without any complication.

I've been flying longer than she had but now, she's progressing faster and better than I've ever achieved. Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely happy for her and I wish for the best to happen. I'm just a little worried bout myself. I can't seem to cope up! I can't land the aircraft the way my instructor wants and not to mention all the other pilots out there.

I feel like I've always been failing myself; falling deeper and deeper into the losers-abyss. I don't want to feel this way, I don't want to be this way but I have no capability to deviate myself from this direction. I've tried, tried really hard and now I'm drained. I used to think, "I have a goal and I'm determined to achieve it!" but life doesn't always go the way I wanted...

Sigh...

Spider!

|
Holy crap! I saw this mini tarantula, well, not really tarantula, just to exaggerate how big and creepy it was while I was cleaning my room the other day.

Well, I've been always been a fan of spiders and I've always been planning to get huge tarantulas as pets but I guess they really creep my mum out!

Sky Diving

|
Thinking of it, I was so close to sky dive but the instructors' schedules clashed on mine, so I ended up didn't dive.

Of course, I would really wanna try new stuff but I guess it wasn't my time yet!

I saw these sky divers few days ago and I thought doing it as soon as... as... as I want to!

P/S : I know the picture is not clear, that's the best I got...

The Gravedancers

|
Can you believe it was released in the States in 2006? Yeah you should.
And can you believe it was just released recently here? You should too because it was.

Anyway, I watched this movie and you're right if you're guessing I was with a girl.

You're right again if you would to guess that she has been screaming, yelling, jumping, moving, shaking, and so on. You name the impulsive expressions, she pulled them all off!

You're also right that she is the infamous, Sonali.

Let's go back to the movie. Yes, the trailer was made beautifully horrifying but guess what, it is crappy. Generally, the most interesting part of a movie or book would be its complicatedly-knotted climax and how the characters untangle it, right?

Well, in this movie, you can just forget about it. It's really crappy. The so-called graphics by the same team who made the Fantastic 4 and Hellboy 2, I was expecting too much. At least, the same scale and degree of graphics smoothness would do, but, let's just say they've tried their very best.

First approximately one hour was nevertheless, nicely done but not after that. That's all I'm gonna say.

Mirrors

|
I would say, this movie really creeps me out! It's good by the way. I mean, would you rather spend one and a half hour in the cinema thinking, "Is this really a horror movie?" or cupping your face with both hands and leave some creeks in between fingers to peak some scenes?

I did the latter and my muscles-tensed-up session did pay off. Waaatch it!
